There is a saying that the kitchen is the hub of the house and this project clearly demonstrates that sentiment!
On the initial meeting, Steve told me his biggest concerns about the project were that he struggled to visualise the space, it was a large investment so wanted to get it right. His top priority was to make it a social space for friends and family. He also wanted it to be comfortable, family friendly for the future and a space that people would talk about when they left! Admitting he wasn't a creative person, he didn't have a clear vision of what he wanted so opted for the Personal Shopper package to create the wow factor. I got started working my magic on this space which had huge potential.

As you enter the kitchen of this semi detached period property you are firstly met with a bright open space that is welcoming and inviting created by the side extension to the property. In addition to this wealth of space it floods the area with light from a large sky window. Large folding doors open out to the garden creating an Al Fresco effect of outside/inside living.
Clever features like an integrated extractor make way for pendant lights above the central island. Pull up a stool and socialise with the family or friends whilst cooking your evening meal. For those summer days a well manicured garden with built-in BBQ and elevated seating area can be enjoyed. A perfect space for a young professional couple.
